Agartala May 19: Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) on Friday launched Mobile Toilet Van to help people in emergency times.

Mayor Dipak Majumder, Deputy Mayor Manika Das Dutta, Municipal Commissioner Sailesh Kumar Yadav flagged off two mobile toilet vans.

Speaking to the reporters Mayor Dipak Majumder said, “We are launching new things to modernize the city and the Mobile Toilet Van is a part of it”.

“A total of four persons, both male and female can use the moving toilet at a time”, he said.

Majumder further said, “Such vans will be kept in various programs and also common people will be allowed to use it when necessary”.

Besides, Agartala Municipal Corporation will also rent the Mobile Toilet Vans for programs and occasions.
