Covid situation in the State is becoming alarming as fresh 36 positive cases have been found in the state as per the report of Sunday.

With the new cases, the number of Covid-infected persons under treatment has reached 106.

The 36 new cases included 24 in West Tripura district alone, 8 in Sepahijala, 4 each in  Gomati district. 

The official report said, 551 samples have been tested and 36 among them have been detected positive—the positivity rate is 6.53 per cent
