Agartala Feb 18: One person died on spot while three others were critically injured in an accident that took place in Karaimura area of Bagma after two private cars collided head- on.

The deceased has been identified as Debadrita Choudhury while the injured are Aditya Saha, Lakshmi Saha and Samir Roy, all residents of capital city.

Reportedly, the deceased including the injured were returning back to home in Agartala after offering prayers at Mata Tripurasundari temple in Udaipur when the accident took place on the way.

According to the on duty doctor, “All three have been referred to GB Hospital in Agartala and the woman, Debadrita Choudhury was brought dead”.

The vehicles on the other hand have been taken to Bishalgarh police station.
