Agartala April 09: With the dates for by-election to the Ramnagar assembly seat approaching, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate and AMC Mayor Dipak Majumder has engaged in extensive campaigning across the assembly constituency.

On Tuesday, Majumder conducted a door-to-door campaign in Booth No. 34, 35 and 36 under Ward No. 19 of AMC in Ramnagar.

Addressing reporters, Dipak Majumder said, “We are witnessing a saffron wave in the entire Ramnagar area. Earlier too the people here supported BJP candidate Late MLA Surajit Datta and this time too they are showing utmost support as I am reaching their doorstep”.

“The people have an immense satisfaction with the work under Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government and will vote for development”, he added.

Deputy Mayor of AMC Manika Das Datta and other local karyakartas of the party accompanied the Mayor during the campaign.
