Agartala Jan 01: Late night on New Year’s eve, a person was recovered in a bloody state from the Jaipur area near Border Golchakkar of the capital city.

The individual whose identity could not be known till the time of filing the report, was brutally attacked and poisoned by miscreants.

According to local witnesses who helped the injured reach the hospital, “The victim came running for help. With several wounds on his body he revealed the name of one Radhacharan Das, responsible for his condition before collapsing”.

“The man mentioned one Radhacharan Das who nabbed him from Battala area, injured him brutally and also poisoned him”, said one local.

Learning about the incident, firefighters reached the scene and transported the victim to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.

Meanwhile, the authorities informed about an ongoing investigation to apprehend the culprits responsible for the heinous act.
