Agartala April 05: Following the motto of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’, it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi led government that has ensured overall development of the people belonging to backward classes, said Tripura chief minister Dr Manik Saha.
The chief minister made the statement as he led a roadshow in Jaipur area under Ramnagar assembly constituency in support of party candidate Dipak Majumder in the forthcoming by-elections to the seat.
“Since being appointed as the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi has always focused on the development of the socio-economic backward classes. Several policies and schemes launched by the BJP-led government in the Centre as well as by the present state government have ensured their welfare”, said the chief minister.
Answering to the question of the reporters over the oppositions’ claim of ‘sending back people belonging to Muslim and minority communities back to Bangladesh’, the chief minister said, “It is in their habit to hatch conspiracies and ruin the peace to distract the people by creating such hype in the name of caste, creed and religion. The Prime Minister has always spoken about ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ and the same is being implemented through a great number of schemes, projects launched by the government”.
The BJP government’s holistic approach reflects a comprehensive plan that aims to diminish the socio-economic disparities, said Dr Saha.
Speaking about the contest in Ramnagar bypolls between BJP candidate Dipak Majumder and CPI-Ms I.N.D.I.A bloc candidate Ratan Das, the chief minister said, “Overwhelming response from the common people is an answer to the question. People will vote for BJP in terms of development”.
The day’s rally was eye-catching with a huge gathering of voters.
