Agartala, Aug 27: Police of NCC Police Station on Tuesday nabbed two serial snatchers from Agartala with golden ornaments worth Rs 15 lakh.

The 2 detained snatchers were identified by the police as Samir Mia and Baban Nandi, both residents of Agartala, said Superintendent of Police of West Tripura district Dr Kiran Kumar.

The SP said that the detained snatchers are involved in snatching several golden ornaments, especially chain and other jewelleries from various parts of the capital city. At least 13 golden chains, one pair of earnings and a motorbike was seized from their possession, the SP said, adding that the seized golden ornaments worth around Rs 15 lakh.
