Agartala Nov 06: Bacchu Mia, a resident of North Jogendranagar area under Pratapgarh assembly constituency, recently suffered significant losses after fire gutted his entire residence.

In response, Pradesh Congress president Ashish Kumar Saha visited the affected family on Wednesday to provide financial assistance.

Additionally, one of Bacchu Mia's daughters, who is a first-year college student, was provided with  textbooks from the Congress team to support her education.

The event saw the presence of several key figures, including TPCC District president Tanmoy Roy, Bimal Barman, Sapan Deb, Md Sahajan Islam, Amir Hossain, Shreyasi Lashkar among others.

The presence of the Congress leaders underscored the party's commitment to assisting those in need and supporting the community in times of crisis.
