Pradesh Youth Congress to hold 3 days sit-in protest

Agartala July 06: The state Youth Congress announced to launch movement against the problems of the unemployed youths in the state. State president of the organization Rakhu Das declared the same amid a press conference on Wednesday.
The state executive committee of the Tripura Youth Congress sat for a meeting on Wednesday. The meeting was held at the Pradesh Congress Bhavan where former MLA Gopal Roy, Youth Congress President Rakhu Das and others remained present. At the end of the meeting, Rakhu Das addressed the press at the Congress Bhawan where he announced the organization would organize a three-day sit-in demonstration in Agartala from July 18 July 20 on the basis of nine charter point demands. Besides a mass rally and gathering of the Pradesh Congress will be held at Orient Chowmani area of capital city where All India Congress leaders will take part.
The major demands include immediate release of JRBT test results, recruitment of all TET qualified candidates together, investigation into allegations of corruption in TSR recruitment by High Court judges, regularization of irregular employees as promised, cessation of outsourcing, closure of cases filed against Youth Congress workers and many more.
