Speaking to the media after the day’s meeting Pradyot Kishore Debbarman announced, “Tipra Motha will start campaigning from village to village in order to spread the message that the party is not against anyone but it wants a permanent constitutional solution for the Tiprasa which will also help all the people residing outside ADC totalling 37 lakh population in the state”.
Responding to the question of the reporters on connection with the central govt related to the demands, Pradyot stated, “I hope the Centre will give positive response very soon, and if not, the party will find its own way out for the constitutional solution”.
Talking about the development of talks with Congress, Pradyot said, “Congress privately has accepted the fact of deprivation which was faced by the indigenous people for 70 years and also declared the Tipraland demand as a constitutional right but after future talks the declaration might be made public”.
“We are not against anyone, any community. We will approach all across the land of Tripura. Our motto is to achieve a solution to the long standing demands of indigenous people in the state”, added Pradyot.
