Charilam , July 4:  Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik visited the house of Martyr Sanjoy Debnath at Kasba Panchayat under Bishalgarh subdivision on Monday. She offered floral tribute to the portrait of the Martyr and prayed for eternal peace of his soul. The mortal remains of Martyr Sanjoy Debnath, a jawan of Gorkha Regiment of Indian Army came to his house on Sunday who died in a catastrophic landslide at Manipur on Wednesday.  Union Minister tried to comfort the inconsolable mother of the deceased jawan, his widow Nipa and her child.  Nipa fell ill after receiving the information about her husband’s death and is yet to recover. The baby is unable to understand anything. The MoS assured to take care of the family in future in all situations.
