The ballot box and other relevant materials for the ensuing Presidential election reached Agartala on Wednesday.

The Presidential Pol will take place on July 18. In Tripura, the MPs and MLAs will cast their votes at the lobby of State Assembly.

The ballot box and other poll materials for Tripura were collected by Additional Chief Electoral Officer Usa Jen Mog and Assistant Returning Officer Suithuifru Mog.

They reached Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport, Agartala at 5 pm. The ballot box and other materials were stored in the Strong Room. After the voting, the ballot box will be kept in the strong room for 24 hours amid tight security and then it will be sent to the Returning Officer in Delhi on the next day.
