Agartala June 29: The Adarsha motherhood campaign is going to start from July 1. Mission Director Siddhartha Shiv Jaiswal said this at a press conference on Wednesday. He said a state-wide standard maternity drive would be launched to ensure the health protection of pregnant women and unborn children. It will start from July 1 and will continue till July 14. He said the first phase of the campaign will provide medical services to 29,936 pregnant women in the state. During the first 5 days of the campaign, Asha workers will go from house to house and make a list of pregnant women. There will be a Community Health Officer to take care of the health of every pregnant woman. Health check-up of every pregnant woman will be ensured by an experienced doctor. Besides, arrangements will be made to provide them various medical services, said the mission officer.
