Agartala, July 14: Rationalization fund and experience bonus for eligible National Health Mission (NHM) employees in Tripura has been approved, according to an official notification.
Fhe experience bonus and rationalization fund was pending since 2020-2021 FY.
Meanwhile, a demand for the same was raised by Vivekananda Vichar Manch in a deputation with the then Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on March 16, this year.
In reference to the decision of the Governing Body Meeting of the State Health and Family Welfare Society jeld on July 12 last, distribution of rationalization fund and experience bonus to all eligible NHM staffs under SH&FWS and DH&FWS who are in position as on March 31, 2022 has been approved in some manners, the notification said.
The NHM staff who have completed three years of service in their present post during the financial year 2019-20 and 2020-21 and not received any EB are eligible to get 10% EB w.e.f. April 1. 2020 and April 1, 2021 respectively on his/her existing salary as on March 31, 2020 and March 31, 2021 respectively.
Those who have completed five years of service in their present post during the financial year 2019-20 and 2020-21 and received 10% EB in previous year are eligible for 5% additional EB w.e.f. April 1, 2020 and April 1, 2021 respectively on his/her existing salary as on March 31, 2020 and March 31, 2021 respectively.
Similarly, the NHM staff who completed at least one year of service as on March 31, 2020 and March 31, 2021 respectively are eligible for rationalization fund in various manners.
The decision by Dr. Manik Saha-led government has brought smiles to je NHM employees.
