Agartala May 20: MP West Rebati Mohan Tripura on Saturday presided over the district development coordination and monitoring committee named ‘Disha Meeting’ at the DM Office, Dhalai.

Speaking to the reporters, Rebati said, “Disha meetings are held in every 3-4 months with an aim to review the progress of implementation of major flagship development schemes and programs of government of India”.

“Detailed discussions were held over the ongoing projects, overall situation in the district starting from infrastructural development, health, education being the priority”, he added.

He also said that over the past years the state has received recognition in national level in various sectors including TRLM under the present government.

Besides, health issues like cholera, malaria and many others have come under control where the PHCs are doing a great job.

MP Rebati Mohan Tripura appealed all the dignitaries of various departments to achieve full targets so as to fulfill the vision of prime minister Narendra Modi.

DM, Administrative Officials, Municipal Council officials, BDOs, BAC Chairman, local MLAs among others took part in the meeting.
