Ambassa, Jan 15: Tension triggered after 2 bodies were recovered from two separate places of Ambassa subdivision on Wednesday morning.
The first incident took place after a 21 years old unidentified youth was chopped off by a moving train. The incident took place soon after the Jiribam bound train from Agartala entered into the Ambassa rail station on Wednesday morning.
Alarmed by the incident the Ambassa police and railway police rushed to the spot and recovered the body of the youth from the rail track and the body was later sent to district hospital for post mortem.
On the other hand, another body of 65-year-old man identified as Chandan Sharma was recovered from a tree in a hanging position. The incident took place in the deep forest of Kekomacherra in Ambassa R D Block.
Alarmed by the incident the police of Ambassa police station rushed to the spot and brought down the body from the tree and has send the body district hospital. It was reported that Chandan Sharma was a daily labour and was debt-ridden. He went out of his house 2 days back and never returned back to his home. Locals said that Chandan took multiple loan from different source to run his family, but he failed to recover the loan.
On the other hand, the bemoan family members of the deceased Chandan Sharma demanded the police to initiate investigation into the death.
