Agartala July 05: The Returnees groups namely Joint Action Committee (JAC) and Joint Action Rehabilitation Committee (JARC) declared to stage protest by blocking the National Highway on July 11 next if their demands are not met within July 08. The same was declared by Shailen Kumar Bru amid a press meet at the Agartala Press Club on Tuesday.

The members of the Returning Committee said they met the Tribal Welfare Minister Rampada Jamatia on Tuesday at the Civil Secretariat. They added the minister assured to sit in a meeting with all the concerned officials to discuss on the demands.

However, the associations warned to sit on NH blockade if their demands like Power Tiller, Piggery-Goattery Schemes, PMAY-G etc. are not met within the stipulated time.
