Agartala Nov 27: The Sanatani Hindu Sena on Wednesday organized a protest rally in the state capitals Radhanagar area demanding immediate release of Hindu priest, Chinmoy Krishna Das Brahmachari.
The rally aimed to draw attention to the arrest and detention of Chinmoy Krishna Das, also known as Krishna Das Prabhu, an ISKCON monk and Hindu leader who was recently arrested in Bangladesh for leading protests against the violence towards Hindus.
The protest rally in Agartala saw a huge turnout of participants, including devotees and community members who marched through the streets, carrying banners and chanting slogans, calling for justice and release of Krishna Das Prabhu.
An ISKCON priest while talking to the reporters claimed, “The atrocities Bangladesh government is doing with the Hindus is unacceptable. They have to comply with the eight-point demands and also release Chinmoy Krishna Das immediately”.
“The Sanatani Hindu Sena remains committed to raising awareness and seeking justice for their religious leader and protests will continue unless demands are met”, he added.
The demonstrators emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence and urged the Bangladeshi government to ensure the safety and security of religious minorities.
