Teliamura, July 03: The Teliamura SBI branch to work on a new venture to alleviate the long-standing grievances of commercial bank customers in the area. As part of this, for the first time, a Traders Meet was organized at the Teliamura SBI branch on Saturday evening with the prominent customers of SBI Bank in the area. Binoy Bhushan Das, Regional Manager, SBI, Shubhankar Chakraborty, Deputy Manager, North East Zone, Gautam Chakma, Anik Iqbal and Ashish Mitra, Branch Manager, Teliamura took part in the discussion at the Traders Meet. The officials gave an informative picture on various issues like non-cooperation of bank staff with the customers in terms of disbursement and the delay in the disbursement in giving loans. In the discussion between the two sides of Traders Meet, the bank officials present today realized everything and by correcting their past errors in the service, they promised to improve their service by making it easier and simpler for the traders to get loans from SBI branches.
