Dharmanagar, July 13: SDM L Darlong is carrying on his administrative duties with the motto of “No one is above law”. As part of the routine operation conducted on Wednesday, the sub-divisional administration raided the shop of Billu Modak, a well-known businessman in Naya Para area.

The expedition led by SDM L Darlong along with Additional SDM SDM Manik Chakraborty and other administrative officials recovered expired paracetamol, various other medicines, baby food, soap and other cosmetics worth lakhs of rupees. Cartoons filled with expired products were recovered from the shop. These were with items in other periods. The SDM said measures as per the government law will be effective.

Meanwhile, Billu Modak said that he brought these goods from the market yesterday and said that they will be sent to the company.
