Belonia, Jan 13: The South district education department on Monday organized a district level seminar on teaching learning method and exhibition here at Belonia Old Town Hall.

President of South District Zilla Parishad Deepak Datta, President of South Tripura Zilla Parishad Standing Committee on Education Shambhu Banik, Belonia Municipal Council Chairperson Nikhil Chandra Gope, Director of Elementary Education Abhijit Samajpati and District Education Officer Subir Manjumder among others were present in the programme.

The speakers mainly highlighted various aspects of Teaching Learning Method and Nipun Tripura Mission. They discussed the topics with special importance on how to attract the students towards their education in schools, especially the students of the nursery level.

Discussion session was followed by a demonstration on the Teacher Learning Method, where a total of 80 models of educational materials suitable for nursery to class III were displayed by the students of different schools of the district.
