SFI-TSU organizes “March For Education” in capital city

Agartala Aug 12: The Student Federation of India (SFI)’s “All India Jhata” against the central government’s National Education Policy was organized at Agartala on Friday, as a part of the nation-wide movement.
Talking to the reporters, SFI State secretary Sandipan Deb said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party is creating a divide among the students by introducing digital education since the Covid led pandemic. Not all sections of the student community can afford digital education”.
Deb, urged the students to unite and oppose the new policy adding that it is taking away the constitutional right to proper education.
Various demands including recruitment of adequate number of teachers in state government schools, repeal of New Education Policy were raised in the day’s protest rally.
Massive number of supporters of SFI and TSU, Tripura Unit took part in the rally raising the slogan, “Save Education Save Constitution Save India”.
