State Govt. has prioritized development of School Infrastructure for ensuring Quality Education: Sushanta

Agartala Jul 04: Minister for Transport and Tourism Sushanta Chowdhury on Thursday, reaffirmed the state government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the quality of education by prioritizing the development of school infrastructure across the state as he inaugurated the newly- constructed two-storied building of Sukanta Academy English Medium Higher Secondary School in Ranirbazar, Nalgaria.
Stressing on the government’s commitment to enhancing education infrastructure, Minister Chowdhury said, “The state-of-the-art building, developed under the Vidyajyoti project, boasts smart classrooms, a library, various labs, and additional classrooms. A total investment of Rs 2.86 crore has been allocated for this purpose”.
Chowdhury added, "The government has given priority to quality education and school infrastructural development includes logistics support and construction of new concrete buildings for schools”
He noted that the students are the future of the country and teachers should take the leading role in developing them properly.
During the ceremony, Minister Chowdhury also honoured meritorious students and handed over prizes on the occasion of the annual prize distribution ceremony of the school.
Notable attendees at the day’s program included West Tripura District Magistrate Dr. Vishal Kumar, Ranirbazar Municipal Council Chairperson Aparna Shukla Das, Vice-Chairperson Prabir Kumar Das, philanthropist Gauranga Bhowmik and school headmistress Sarbani Das.
The students of Sukanta Academy are poised to benefit significantly from these new facilities, which mark a positive step toward educational development in the region.
