Agartala Jan 17: STGT job aspirants on Tuesday slammed the state education minister Ratan Lal Nath over fake promises of employment.
Citing the delay in recruitment process even after quashing of the case related to STGT recruitment by Tripura High Court, the aspiring candidates once again knocked the door of education minister.
However, the delegation of aspiring teachers returned empty handed as the minister clearly said that no recruitment will be done prior the elections.
Talking to the reporters, one of the candidates said, “From the very fast day of our protests and repeated requests, the education minister had promised to recruit us all together. But today he completely turned his back in denial”.
“Ratan Lal Nath clearly said that no recruitment will be done ahead of elections and after too, only 230 of the aspiring candidates will be recruited although there is vacancy of at least 6,000 posts for Graduate teachers in state government schools”, she added.
The education minister even cleared that there will be no fruitful results to any of our protests, added the aggrieved unemployed youths.
The education ministers’ statement has demoralized the job aspirants to a great extent.
However, they said that their protests will be continued till the demand of ‘all-together’ recruitment is not met.
