TBSE Result Out: 86.18% passes Madhyamik, 94.46% passed HS

Agartala, July 06: As the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) on Wednesday declared the Madhyamik Term-II 2022 and Higher Secondary examinations result, 86.18 per cent passed the Madhyamik and 94.46 per cent passed the HS examination.
Addressing a press conference on Wednesday noon, the TBSE president Dr. Bhabatosh Saha accompanied by other board officials announced the result before it was published in different websites.
He said that this year the examination was held in two stages due to Covid-19, where a total of 43,282 candidates took part in the Madhyamik Term-I examination, and 43,294 candidates sat for the Term-II examinations. He said that a total of 28,931 candidates sat for the Higher Secondary examination this year.
This year a total of 197 schools are listed, where 100 per cent students have passed, while a total of 85 schools are listed, where 100 per cent HS candidates had passed the examinations, he said, adding that this year the West Tripura has topped with 90.75 pass percentage in Madhyamik and the Dhalai district scored the lowest with 81.87 pass percentage.
He said that in the HS examination results, the South district had topped with 97.13 pass percentage and the West Tripura district scored the lowest with 94.92 pass percentage.
