TBSE- run Higher Secondary Examinations Begin in Tripura: Chief Minister Wishes Students Success

Agartala Feb 24: The written examinations for the Higher Secondary and Madrasa Fazil Kala and Fazil Theology, conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education for the 2025 academic year, have started in the state. The examinations commenced on Monday, taking place across 60 centers in the state, with a total of 95 venues hosting the exams.
Dr. Dhananjay Gan Chowdhury, the president of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE), visited various examination centers in Agartala city on the first day. He inspected the arrangements, including electricity, drinking water, and seating for the students, ensuring a smooth and comfortable examination process.
Speaking to the media after his visits, Dr. Gan Chowdhury confirmed that the first day of Higher Secondary examinations was conducted peacefully, with no reports of untoward incidents or unrest.
The English examination proceeded smoothly in all 60 centers, accommodating a total of 21,506 candidates.
He noted that there were no complaints from students, and special arrangements had been made for those who are physically weak to ensure they faced no difficulties during the exams. Additionally, he mentioned that there were no candidates from Tripura Correctional Institutions in this year's Higher Secondary examinations.
The written examinations for Secondary and equivalent Madrasa Alim are scheduled to begin on February 25, Tuesday. The Higher Secondary examinations will conclude on March 22, while the Secondary examinations will end on March 18. The State Council has already completed the practical examinations.
On the first day of the Higher Secondary examinations, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha extended his best wishes to the students.
He reminded them of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's advice during the "Pariksha Pe Charcha" program, encouraging them to take the examinations peacefully.
Meanwhile, the comprehensive preparations and support from the Tripura Board of Secondary Education and the Chief Minister have set a positive tone for the examination period, ensuring that students can focus on their studies and perform to the best of their abilities.
