TBSE to distribute new marksheets for Higher Secondary

Agartala, July 18: Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) decided to distribute new marksheets for Higher Secondary following some confusion regarding the year mentioned along with the registration number.
The announcement came from Board secretary Dr. Dulal Dey in a press conference on Monday.
The results were error free but there are some confusions regarding the year mentioned along with the registration number in the marksheets.
The TBSE secretary said, those who had missed the Term-I examination in December last year after being failed to fill up form in due time were given chance to take the examinations later.
"There were many students who had passed Madhyamik examination long ago but appeared in Higher Secondary examinations this year. In that case, to maintain the database, we mentioned the year when they passed Madhyamik examination along with the registration number."
The Board now decided to change the year where the confusion is arising in Higher Secondary marksheets, he said.
According to he TBSE secretary, the teachers of the respective schools would collect the marksheets and the Board would distribute new marksheets in next four to five days.
He clearly mentioned that only the year would be changed; otherwise the results were error-free.
The results of TBSE-conducted Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations were declared on July 6 last the marksheets were sent to respective schools on July 15 and 16.
