TET exams: Out of Syllabus Question, Wrong Answers triggers tension among job aspirants

Agartala Jan 24: Teaching job aspirants who appeared in the 2022 TET exams met TRBT Chairman Pratyosh Ranjan Deb on Tuesday seeking clarifications about TET question papers and answer key issues.
According to candidates, a number of questions that came in the TET 2022 examination were wrong and out of syllabus.
Talking to the reporters one of the candidates said, “This is nor the first time that we came to meet the TRBT authorities. But even after approaching them with all the details we got no proper solution”.
Demanding the authorities to check the questions that were marked out of syllabus and wrong before publishing the final answer key, the candidates said, “At least 35 questions in TET 2 and 20 questions in TET 1 were either wrong or out of syllabus”.
The candidates further criticized statement of TRBT authorities who on earlier occasions said, ‘Questions can be put up from anywhere”.
“TRBT should announce that there is no syllabus for exams as they are putting questions out of the syllabus”, said the candidates.
Issues of teachers shortage in state government schools was also raised by the aspiring teachers in front of the Shiksha Bhavan.
Around 21, 000 candidates appeared in TET 2 examination and 17,000 appeared in TET 1 in the year 2022.
