Three Bangladeshi infiltrators detained by BSF in Tripura

Agartala, Sept 17: In a determined move to prevent illegal infiltration through India-Bangladesh international border, the Border Security Force in Tripura has strengthened its vigil.
In an operation, BSF troops of Harihardola BOP under Sepahijala district apprehended three Bangladeshi nationals on Monday while they were trying to enter Indian territory by negotiating the border fence.
BSF in a statement said all apprehended Bangladeshi nationals are family members and residents of Comilla district in Bangladesh.
BSF has stepped up domination and vigil along the border in Tripura to prevent infiltration. In the month of September 2024 itself total 65 Bangladeshi nationals have been apprehended by BSF troops while they were trying to infiltrate into Indian territory.
