Boxanagar Sept 15: Ahead of the upcoming assembly elections, Trinamool Congress inaugurated its party office in Motinagar Fakiradola Chowmani Bazar under Boxanagar assembly constituency of Sonamura sub-division.

Later, a meeting was also held in presence of TMC MP Susmita Dev, senior leader Rajeev Banerjee and many other leaders of the state including Panna Dev, Neel Kamal Saha.  

At the end of the ceremony, senior TMC leader Rajeev Banerjee, who came from West Bengal, inaugurated the party office.

Later, 58 voters from 11 families left the Congress party and joined the Trinamool Congress.
