Agartala, Sept 10: Tripura BJP’s Sadar (rural) district committee and 10- Majlishpur mandal jointly felicitated new party president Rajib Bhattacharjee on Saturday.

Bhattacharjee was welcomed to Geetanjali Hall at Ranirbazar through a colourful road show in presence of Minister for Information and Cultural Affairs Sushanta Chowdhury.

Hundreds of party karyakartas from Majlishpur and other places participated in the rally and the felicitation programme.

Sabhadhipati of Paschim Tripura Zilla Parishad Antara Deb Sarkar, two MLAs- Dr. Dilip Kumar Das, Krishnadhan Das, president of BJP Sadar (rural) district unit Ashit Roy and chairman of OBC corporation Tapas Majumder were present in the felicitation programme.

The ICA minister expressed hope that the BJP organization would be strengthened further under the able leadership of party’s state president Rajib Bhattacharjee.

After the felicitation programme, Bhattacharjee held an organizational meeting where he encouraged the party karyakartas at all levels to work with more dedication with an eye on the 2023 assembly polls.
