Dharmanagar, Sep 05: Tripura  BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee went to North District and held organizational meetings with district and local level leaders on Monday.
 
Bhattacharjee exuded confidence that the BJP would do well in upcoming Assembly polls based on the report card of achievements of the incumbent government.

When asked about the recent joining programme held by Congress, Rajib Bhattacharjee took a swipe at the party and said people will give Congress a befitting reply in 2023 Assembly polls – just like the people of the State gave a good lesson to CPM in 2018 polls”.

Addressing the media, the BJP State president highlighted the achievements of the incumbent state and central governments for the overall development of all sections of society. He said, based on the report card of our government’s success, people will vote us. Bhattacharjee exuded confidence that BJP would perform well in upcoming Assembly polls.

 He also slammed CPM and alleged CPM encouraged farmers to hold agitation programmes, however, they did nothing good for the farmers. In contrast, the BJP government initiated several initiatives including Krishak Samman Nidhi, FCI procurement of paddy etc.

On another note, Bhattacharjee said he would focus on working with old times and newcomers as well.
