Agartala, Sept 20: The women wing of BJP, Tripura Pradesh hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for introducing ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ in the Parliament.

Addressing a press conference on Wednesday, state Mahila Morcha president Jharna Debbarma said, ‘it’s a landmark decision by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We are hopeful that the historic decision will be implemented in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls.

This decision by the Prime Minister would strengthen the vision of women empowerment, Debbarma said.

Narendra Modi has been taking one after another landmark decisions since he became Prime Minister in 2014 for the welfare of women. He has also been giving priority to the women in implementing various welfare schemes.

BJP state general secretary Papia Dutta and others were present in the press conference.
