Agartala July 12: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Tuesday urged the citizens of the state to be aware of the fourth wave of Covid 19 as cases are once again showing uptick in the state.

He added the state administration and concerned officials of the health department are on constant surveillance and all the appropriate measures will be taken to cope with any situation if arises. He further urged upon the citizens to abide with the Covid protocols and wear masks compulsorily.

As Tripura witnessing a rise in Covid positive cases recorded maximum number of positive cases since July 1st in comparison to past few months and amidst high alert and increasing cases in few states of the country, the state government has adopted few specific measures to contain the spread of new wave of coronavirus and wearing of face masks made mandatory with other Covid Appropriate Behaviors (CAB) in all public places.
