Agartala, Feb 05: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Wednesday asked the officials concerned to complete all the on-going development projects on mission mode.
He also passed an instruction to the officials for conducting regular follow-up of the completed works so that the benefits reach the people properly.
Dr. Saha was addressing the second review meeting on various development schemes at the Chief Minister War Room of Tripura Institution for Transformation, Agartala.
The Chief Minister also held virtual interaction with the District Magistrates of various districts to know about the status of the development projects.
Chief Executive Officer of TIFT Kiran Gitte held discussions on the decisions taken in the first meeting.
The Chief Minister instructed the officials concerned to immediately send a proposal to the Ministry of DoNER seeking more funds for the infrastructure development at Tripurasundari Temple, Udaipur. He said, a discussion was already held with the ministry of DoNER for releasing more funds.
Dr. Saha also emphasized the work progress of various national highways. In this context, Gitte said that around 60-70 percent of the NH works were already done.
In the discussions, the Chief Minister asked the officials to install more CCTVs in various important locations of Agartala city. Besides, he asked to regularly monitor the functions of the existing CCTVs. He also stressed on beautification along the airport road and progress of ropeway projects.
The CEO of TIFT also apprised the Chief Minister of PMAY (urban), PMAY (Gramin), PM-Swanidhi, PMEGP and Mukhyamantri Cha Shramik Prakalpa.
Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, Principal Secretary to Revenue department Puneet Agarwal, ICA secretary Dr. P.K. Chakraborty, PWD secretary Abhishek Singh, Rural Development secretary Dr. Sandeep R. Rathod and OSD to CM Paramananda Sarkar Banerjee were also present in the review meeting.
