Tripura CM exhorts people to co-operate health staff to get best service

Boxonagar, July 15: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha on Saturday said the people need to extend cooperation to health staff so that they can deliver best services.
Without cooperation from people, improvement of healthcare services is not possible, Dr. Said said who on Saturday inaugurated two new healthcare facilities in Sepahijala district.
He inaugurated the newly-constructed buildings of Boxonagar Community Health Centre and Matinagar Primary Health Centre.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by Union Minister of State Pratima Bhowmik, chairman of Tripura Haj committee Jashimuddin, Director of Health and Family Welfare department Dr. Radha Debbarma, chairman of Boxonagar Panchayat Samity Sanjay Sarkar and others.
Dr. Saha first opened Matinagar Primary Health Centre and inspected the new facility. He then went Boxonagar Community Health Centre where he was welcomed by the doctors, nurses and others.
The inaugural ceremony was held at Nazrul Mancha field where District Magistrate of Sepahijala Viswashree B. delivered the welcome address.
She said, renovation of Bishalgarh to Sonamura highway would take place soon. The DM also said that some development activities would also begin in that area.
The Chief Minister also joined an organizational meeting of Boxonagar mandal at Kalamchaura community hall.
