Agartala Jan 31: Recommendations made by the Finance Commission will help in shaping Tripura’s financial structure along with development trajectory, said chief minister Dr Manik Saha.
The chief minister made the statement as he answered the question of the reporters on Friday after he inaugurated a new academic and hostel building of North East Institute of Nursing science (NEINS)at Amtali Bypass Road.
“Tripura’s financial status at present is stable and efficiently managed with reductions in both debt load and obligatory spending”, he said.
Dr Saha further said, “At the meeting, we presented a vision for Tripura's transformation through improved connectivity, effective governance, and robust economic development”.
“Also, discussions on recent floods, DA, infrastructure development and other important issues were held during the meeting”, he added.
The state's forward-thinking strategy, coupled with the Finance Commission's recommendations, will be crucial in realizing its ambitious objectives, claimed the chief minister.
