Agartala, Sept 27: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated various development projects at Kadamtala in North Tripura district.
The newly-inaugurated projects included buildings of Kadamtala Police Station, Fulbari Minority Girls’ Hostel, Transit Godown having capacity 200 MT, village-level Farmers’ Advisory Centre at Ichailalcherra and new building of Baghan HS School.
He also inaugurated a special campaign on ‘Proti Ghore Sushasan’ and Skill Fair and inspected the stalls opened in the fair.
Later speaking at the inaugural ceremony organized at Kadamtala H.S. School Ground, the Chief Minister said his government is committed for the welfare of all sections of people; the goal is to ensure the Fundamental Rights up to the last man in the society.
He said, the state government has been working with a special focus on making the unemployed youth Swanirbhar, women empowerment and farmers’ welfare.
“Our government wants to deliver the benefit of development works up to the grassroots. We want the country as well as the state to prosper further under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji,” Dr. Saha tweeted.
According to the Chief Minister, he was visibly happy with the participation of the students and the local people in large numbers in the inaugural function amid scorching heat.
Tripura Industrial Development Corporation chairman Tinku Roy and other local officials and leaders were present in the inaugural ceremony.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister, who travelled from Agartala to Dharmanagar in train for the programme, offered prayers at Bishweswari Temple for the well-being of the people of Tripura. Earlier he was accorded a warm welcome at Dharmanagar by the local BJP karkakartas.
