Agartala, Feb 05: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha called on Union Minister for Home Affairs Amit Shah and BJP national president J.P. Nadda in New Delhi on Monday.
The Chief Minister’s meetings with Shah and Nadda assumed to be significant since the Lok Sabha election is knocking at the door.
Dr. Saha in a social media post mentioned that he had discussed the state government’s development initiatives and election matters during his meeting with the Union Home Minister.
In his meeting with the party chief, Dr. Saha also discussed important organizational matters and preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.
He also assured the party chief that Tripura is committed to bloom Lotus in both the Lok Sabha seats, according to the social media post.
The Chief Minister called on both the central leaders in the new Parliament building.
