Agartala July 12: Tripura Pradesh Congress on Tuesday held a protest demonstration in Agartala against continuous rise in fuel prices.

Under the initiative of 8 no. Barjala Block Congress Committee Pradesh Congress leaders and activists staged protest in front of RKS Gas Agency in Barjala area raising slogans against the BJP government and PM Narendra Modi.

Speaking to the reporters Pradesh Congress SC Committee Chairman said, “The economic condition of the country and state under the BJP leadership is in grave danger. The BJP in the centre and state are just thinking about filling their own coffers. In the name of hike in petrol diesel and cooking gas price, the BJP govt is looting the common people and in turn helping the corporate to make money”.

He further urged the people of Tripura to join the protest against the anti-people policies of the Bharatiya Janata Party government.
