Tripura govt committed to develop school infrastructure, says CM

Agartala, Sept 26: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday said the present state government is committed to develop the school Infrastructure to strengthen the education system.
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of new building of Chailengta English Medium Higher Secondary School in Dhalai district. Local MLA Sambhulal Chakma and other dignitaries were present.
The Chief Minister attended several government and organizational programmes in Dhalai district during his day-long tour. He travelled from Agartala to Manu in a train.
The new building of the Chailengta School has been constructed at an expenditure of Rs. 2.80 crore.
Speaking at the programme, the Chief Minister said, in line with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision, the present State Government is committed to strengthening the education system for ensuring quality education to the students.
He also said, the present government has been working with the utmost priority for the overall development of Aspirational District- Dhalai.
Two girl students of the school painted beautiful pictures of the Chief Minister and presented them in the programme.
"Elated to receive the precious gifts from Sayantika Das & Snigdha Banik, both Class-VIII students of Chailengta English Medium Higher Secondary School. I appreciate the students for their interest & skill in artworks," the Chief Minister commented.
As part of his Dhalai district tour, the Chief Minister also paid a surprise visit to L.T. Valley sub-divisional hospital.
He interacted with the medical officer on duty and inquired about the helath services and existing infrastructure.
