Agartala, July 10: In view of sudden surge in Covid positive cases in the state and for the purpose of containing the spread of coronavirus, the High Court of Tripura has decided to strictly follow the Covid norms including social distancing.
An order said that everyone present in the High Court premises has to maintain social distancing norms strictly and mandatorily.
As per the order, the High Court also stressed on following all health advisories issued by the Central/State Government from time to time in letter and spirit at all times.
In addition, adherence to all safety measures, wearing of face mask in proper manner, cleaning of hands at regular interval using soap/sanitizer etc. are compulsory for every person, be it a member of the registry, a lawyer or a litigant.
No person with symptom of fever shall be allowed to enter into the High Court premises under any circumstances.
As regards District Courts (including Family Courts), it is hereby ordered that the concerned District Judge/Judge, Family Court shall ensure that all safety norms and health advisories issued by the Central/State Government from time to time are implemented and/or strictly adhered to.
In particular, the District Judge/Judge, Family Court has to make proper arrangements for providing of hand wash/sanitizer to the lawyers, litigants and the officials of the courts at all entry points and to ensure strict maintenance of social distancing, wearing of face mask in proper manner etc. within the court premises.
Moreover, any official of the Registry and/or District Courts (including Family Courts) having Covid-like symptoms must go through the COVID Test (Antigen/RTPCR). The order will come into effect from July 11.
