Tripura is small state but important for BJP, says Dilip Ghosh

Agartala, July 15: National vice-president of BJP Dilip Ghosh on Friday said Tripura is small in size but important for the party.
He was speaking to the reporters after a courtesy meet with the new council, Mayor Dipak Majumder and Deputy Mayor Manika Das Dutta of Agartala Municipal Corporation.
Ghosh said, he is looking after the Booth Swashaktikaran Abhiyan of six states including Tripura for the next Lok Sabha elections. The BJP national vice-president said his organizational programme in Tripura has been delayed following the recently-concluded by-elections in four assembly seats of the state.
Speaking to he media, Ghosh said he is scheduled to pay courtesy visit to Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and other party leaders before leaving Tripura on Saturday.
Replying to a query, he said, massive corruption took place in all recruitment or examination process in West Bengal but the state government didn't take any step for investigation.
If proper investigation is conducted, many TMC leaders, MPs and MLAs would go to jail, he added.
