Tripura motor workers' delegation leaves for Haryana to attend national conference

Agartala, July 15: A 15-member delegation of four leftist motor workers' bodies in Tripura left for Haryana on Friday to join a national conference.
The national conference of All India Road Transport Workers Federation, a joint forum of all motor workers' bodies, would be held in Hisar, Haryana on July 16-18 next.
The delegation included representatives of Tripura Motor Shramik Union, Tripura Auto-rickshaw Workers' Union, Tripura E-rickshaw Shramik Union and TRTC Karmi Union, said CPI-M leader Amal Chakraborty who led the delegation.
He said, the motor workers of the country are facing the worst since formation of BJP government in Centre in 2014.
High price of fuel, motor parts, increase in premium of insurance and and road tax are making the motor workers worst sufferer, he said, adding that the Motor Vehicle Act of 2019 is a kind of war against the motor workers.
All such issues would be discussed in the national conference where over 500 representatives from across the country would take part.
