Tripura Police seizes Yaba tablets worth Rs. 3.75 cr, CM hails

Dharmanagar, Nov 04: In a major achievement under Neshamukt Tripura campaign, the police seized a huge consignment of Yaba tablets from North Tripura district on Sunday night.
A vehicle carrying the Yaba tablets was raided by the police personnel at Panisagar Naka. During search, a total of 1,50,000 Yaba tablets worth Rs. 3.75 crore were seized form the vehicle and the driver was arrested in this connection.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in a social media post lauded the Tripura Police for this achievement.
The arrested driver- Ratan Nama Sudra (28) is a resident of Loarpoa in Assam. An officer from the Panisagar police station said, such raids would continue in the days to come.
According to police, it was one of the major drug hauls under the Neshamukt Tripura campaign in the North Tripura district.
