Tripura Police Week 2025: Students provided demo on police station operations

Agartala Jan 20: To encourage people participation as well as to let the younger generations have a personal understanding on the way the police stations function, Tripura police invited students from various state government schools at the Arundhati Nagar police station.
The event organized on the occasion of Tripura Police Week 2025, on Monday provided a comprehensive understanding of police operations and the process of handling public complaints, fostering a sense of trust and cooperation between the police and community.
Talking to the reporters OC Arundhati Nagar Police Station said, “During the awareness camp, the students were introduced to various aspects of police work, including the daily responsibilities and challenges faced by police officers.
They learned about the processes involved in receiving and addressing complaints, giving them a clear picture of how complainants are treated and how their grievances are managed. This hands-on educational approach helped demystify the police force, allowing students to gain a deeper appreciation for law enforcement efforts within their community”.
“Additionally, students were educated on topics such as Crimes involving children, means to secure Women’s safety, Precautions to be taken while using social media, adherence to Traffic rules, Anti-drug laws”, he added.
Police officials further informed to conduct similar camps in the coming days.
