Tripura Power minister proposes Training Centre

Agartala, July 09: Tripura Power minister Ratanlal Nath proposed establishment of a state-of-the-art training center in the state.
Nath placed the proposal during North East Power Ministers' Conference held in Guwahati on Tuesday.
He also drew the attention of Union Power Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, advocating for a major renovation in the state's power sector.
Nath also highlighted the proposal for establishment of a 400 KV sub-station at Suryamaninagar.
According to Nath, the Union Power Minister extended a collaborative hand towards various developmental projects in the state.
Among these projects, Nath highlighted the need for the construction of an 800 MW pump storage facility in the Longtarai Valley sub-division. He sought active support from the Union Minister in these endeavors.
Nath expressed hope that with comprehensive support from the central government, it would be possible to significantly enhance the power services sector in the state.
