Agartala May 12: Students of several schools in Tripura came out with excellent performances in Class-X and XII examinations as per the results announced by CBSE on Friday.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha congratulated the exam warriors who have successfully passed the Board examinations of CBSE with their determination and hard work.
Students of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Viveknagar excelled in the CBSE-conducted Class X and XII exams. Out of 103 candidates in the AISSE, 99 students passed the exam with the first division. Uman Debnath secured the highest marks (99.2%) in the school.
In the AISSCE exams, all 53 candidates in the science stream passed with the first division and six students out of the seven students in the Humanities stream passed with the first division. Tapajyoti Chakraborty secured the highest mark (94.8%) in the school.
Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir students continued their excellent performances as out of 207 students in class 10, Pranjali Dam emerged as the top scorer with 95.4 per cent marks. Total 301 students appeared in Class 12 exam and Joyasmitha Chakraborty emerged topper in the school with 95.2 per cent marks.
Hindi Higher Secondary School at Abhoynagar recorded 100 per cent achievement in Secondary Examination. Total 45 students out of 75 appeared in the AISSE, secured first-division marks.
In the AISSCE, the school recorded 100 per cent pass rate in the Science stream while it achieved 98 per cent pass rates both in Arts and Commerce streams. Rajdeep Saha became the school topper with 96.8 per cent marks in the science stream, Neaha Saha (93.6%) in Arts and Jiya Dugar (93.6%) in Commerce stream emerged as school toppers.
Tripureswari Vidyamandir at Gandhigram authority informed the media that out of total 23 students secured 60 per cent and over.
A total of 102 students (Science – 82 and Arts – 20) appeared in the senior secondary exams and a total of 63 passed with 60 per cent and above marks in the Tripureswari Vidyamandir.
Our Chartilam correspondent adds: Anand Marg School in Bishalgarh, a Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) affiliated school, has achieved a 100 per cent pass rate in this year's secondary examination. Of the 53 students who appeared for the CBSE exam, 39 passed with first division and 14 with second division.
Ahmed Farhan emerged as the school topper, securing the first position with a total score of 489 out of 500, or 97.80 per cent. Farhan received a perfect score of 100 in Bengali. Other students also performed exceptionally well, with some scoring 98 in Science and Mathematics.
The students, teachers, and parents of Anand Marg School expressed happiness with the results. The school's chairman, Nanigopal Debnath, held a press conference in the school's hall to announce the students' success, alongside teachers and students.
