Agartala, Aug 29: Dr. Nani Gopal Debnath, a renowned teacher from Agartala, has been nominated for the prestigious National Teachers' Award- 2024.

He is presently serving as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Physics at Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan.

In a social media post, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha congratulated Dr. Debnath's for this achievement.

The award will be presented to Dr. Debnath in a ceremony at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on September 5, on the occasion of Teachers' Day.

President Droupadi Murmu will honour a totla of 50 educators with the National Teachers' Award for their outstanding contributions in the field of education.
