Agartala, Jan 17: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has upgraded Maharaja Bir Bikram airport, Agartala from Grade-III to Grade-II.

The status has been upgraded based on passenger movement and infrastructure development.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha shared the update on his official social media handle and expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this development.
